Instructions
[Group: Step 1: Prepare the Quick Fruit Compote]
First, add blueberries, sugar, and water to a pan. Then, you should cook the mixture over medium heat.
Meanwhile, mash the berries gently with a spoon. Consequently, let it simmer for 3 minutes until thick.
Finally, stir in the fresh lemon juice. After that, you can now remove the pan to let it cool.
[Group: Step 2: Whisk the Green Tea Base]
First, sift the green tea powder into a bowl. Certainly, this step removes all unwanted lumps.
Next, pour in the warm water. However, you must not use hot boiling water.
Finally, whisk rapidly with a frother for 40 seconds. As a result, a bright green foam will form quickly.
[Group: Step 3: Layer the Beverage Like a Barista]
First, spoon the cool purple compote into a glass. Therefore, this forms your sweet bottom layer.
Next, fill the glass completely with clear ice cubes. However, you must drop them in very gently.
Then, slowly pour the cold milk over the ice. Finally, pour the whisked green tea directly on top.

                            Notes

Chef's Tip: To keep the layers perfectly separated for that social-media-perfect look, make sure the blueberry compote is fully cooled down before adding the ice and milk. When pouring the whisked matcha green tea foam, pour it slowly directly over a floating ice cube to break its fall and prevent mixing!
